The Natural Fragrance Launch You Need to Know About

January always means a whole bunch of “newness,” and this year, for the first time, holistic powerhouse Weleda (the brand turns 90 in 2016!) is introducing a fragrance collection.

The natural perfume line (it goes by the name Jardin de Vie Eau Naturelle Parfumée Collection and each one is $24) was handcrafted by in-house perfumers, is made from pure organic essential oils and each scent has a very specific aromatherapeutic benefit. They’re also all the real-deal in natural, and free of phthalates, scent-masking chemicals and endocrine disruptors.

There are three fragrances in total: Jardin de Vie Agrume, a sort of summery-fresh scent that’s decidedly citrusy with hints of sandalwood; Jardin de Vie Rose, a sweeter version of a typical rose perfume; and Jardin de Vie Grenade, a sophisticated pomegranate scent with exotic notes of vanilla. All are clean, subtle and the perfect scent to wear when you want just a hint of fragrance that’s not overpowering.
